Freedom in Trusting the Provider

Aug 6 / OrgEx
There is a deep, soul-settling freedom that comes when we learn to fully trust God as our Provider—not just in theory, but in the day-to-day reality of our lives, our work, our families, and our ministries.

Too often, we carry more than we’re meant to. We shoulder the pressure to raise enough funds, lead effectively, meet expectations, and provide for others. But Jesus offers a different way. A way marked by freedom, not fear. Trust, not toil.
“Your Father knows what you need before you ask Him.” —Matthew 6:8
“Seek first the kingdom of God… and all these things will be added to you.”—Matthew 6:33
This is not an invitation to be passive. It’s a call to faithful action rooted in deep trust. It’s not a strategy to “let go and let God,” but a life of stewarding well because we believe God is already at work providing.

What Freedom Looks Like
When we trust God to provide:
We are free from anxiety about whether we’re doing “enough.”
We are free to be generous, even when our budgets say otherwise.
We are free to invite others boldly into ministry without manipulation or pressure.
We are free to rest, knowing that our success isn’t solely in our hands.
This is the foundation of Champion Development: not striving to get people to give, but helping them respond to the Provider who is already moving.

Lean Into the Freedom
As you learn and grow in this training, remember that it’s not just about content—it’s about living in a new kind of freedom. A freedom that is only possible when we really believe that God sees, God cares, and God provides.

Keep doing the work. Keep leaning into trust. That’s where the freedom is.
